Post #19 – RiverBend Country Club
I was asked by Riverbend Country club a while back to create a instructional video for newcomers to the country club about proper course etiquette and care while playing. This spring they reached back out to do some photographs of the golf course itself.
I recently became a drone pilot and wanted to use that to help document the course. Unfortunately though, the 15-mile no fly zone extends right into the middle of the course, making this impossible. So I had to make do with what I had. Because it was such a large golf course I ended up using a lot my midrange zooms to do landscapes, including my 70-200mm. This was my first time photographing a golf course and there was a steep learning curve. Hopefully I get to document some tournaments here when COVID begins to slow down.
